The Eden Project in Cornwall has recently installed
additional catering facilities to serve the increasing number
of visitors to this successful millennium project. Working closely
with Space Catering Equipment, the designers of the catering
facility, Britannia designed and installed a complete kitchen
ventilation scheme. This included a unique, environmentally
friendly, and cost efficient odour filtration system.
In addition to the ventilation canopies, fans and ductwork,
Britannia also supplied the service distribution units, and
fire suppression system.
The complete system was designed, manufactured and installed
by Britannia in strict compliance with the new standard for
kitchen ventilation, DW172, against tight deadlines.
