The centrepiece of the kitchen is the conical shaped canopy
over the induction hob fitted into the servery counter. The
radius of the canopy matched the line of the servery, and the
architect specifically requested the stainless steel canopy
be conical in shape whilst still conforming to the high manufacturing
standards detailed for in the new standard for kitchen ventilation
DW171.
The wall mounted canopies incorporate insulated supply
air plenums to introduce make up air back into the kitchen through
stainless steel diffusers on the front face of the canopy. The
diffusers have integral air filters and are easily removable
for maintenance purposes. Introducing make up air through the
canopies removes the need for unsightly ceiling mounted grilles
as well as reducing the ductwork in the ceiling void. view downloadable
