Britannia announce the Ultrastream range of canopies using the Superstream high efficiency baffle filters and incorporating TechniAir’s established Ultraviolet (UV) grease and odour destruction system.
First stage grease removal is achieved using the Superstream baffle filter, which also provides a fire barrier between kitchen and ductwork.
Grease and odour destruction is achieved by passing the extract air through the UV lamp assembly located within the canopy. Intense UV light energy breaks down and destroys residual grease and odours by a combination of ozonolysis and photolysis.
TechniAir’s systems have been used at over 100 locations, including the London Hilton and Canary Wharf. Customers using the system report marked reduction in duct cleaning.
